The Model C2 autonomous robot is designed to enhance efficiency and safety in material transport. However, understanding and following essential safety practices is critical to ensuring seamless operation and avoiding potential risks.
The Model C2 performs best on smooth, level surfaces. Avoid operating the robot on uneven terrain, steep slopes (greater than 10°), or in areas with debris, liquids, or excessive vibrations. Ensure the workspace is free of obstructions and clearly marked to minimize interference during operation.
Always maintain a safe distance of at least 1 meter (3 feet) from the robot during operation. Model C2 is equipped with advanced sensors to detect obstacles and stop if necessary, but human awareness is crucial, especially in high-traffic areas or near sensitive equipment. Bystanders, including children and pets, should be kept out of the robot’s path.
For immediate cessation of movement, use the emergency stop button on the robot’s touchscreen interface. This instantly halts the robot and engages its brakes, ensuring safety in critical situations. Familiarize all staff with this feature as part of basic training.
Proper battery management is key to safe operation. Use only Quasi Robotics-approved chargers. Charge the robot in a ventilated area away from flammable materials. Store batteries at 30%-50% charge if the robot will not be in use for an extended period.
Routine maintenance ensures longevity and performance. Clean the sensors regularly to maintain accurate navigation, inspect the wheels for wear, and keep the robot free of dust and debris.
By adhering to these guidelines, the Model C2 can operate efficiently and safely, delivering optimal performance in your facility. For further assistance, consult the user guide or contact Quasi Robotics support at support@quasi.ai.
